Ireland’s rental crisis has hit an all time low if people are willing to share a bed with a stranger.
That’s according to a leading housing charity after an ad on DAFT listed a double room that would have to be shared with a man in his 20s.
The housing minister says he’s working on new measures to protect tenants.
Kim Buckley has this report:
The listing for the apartment on George's Street in Dublin, showed a small room with just enough space for a double bed.
The ad said the letting "may require bed sharing" and is "suitable only for easy going tenants".
The room was let this morning for €250 a month.
