Independent TDs Clare Daly and Mick Wallace have been found guilty of breaching by-laws at Shannon Airport.
The pair were arrested after making their way into Shannon Airport last July.
Deputy Wallace had claimed in court that he had an obligation to break the law by scaling a fence in an attempt to inspect US war planes at Shannon Airport.
The pair were fined €2,000 each at Ennis District Court this afternoon.
