Davina McCall has announced her separation from her husband Matthew Robertson.

The couple married in 2000 and have three children together.

The TV presenter told Digital Spy that their children "are our number one priority" and have asked "for as much space and respect from the media as possible."

Davina posted this cryptic message on her instagram a number of days ago hinting all was not well:
