There's been an increase in the number of students applying for construction related third level courses.
Figures from the CAO show there was a 14% increase in architecture applications this year.
Demand for engineering/technology, business and nursing courses rose, while agriculture dropped by almost a quarter.
Applications to the CAO hit a record high this year - over 76,000.
