A demonstration will be held in Dublin this afternoon, to protest against the rising cost of car insurance premiums.
6 thousand cars are expected to take part in a protest around Leinster House and Merrion Square from 12 noon and are expected to bring traffic to a standstill.
Opposition TDs are due to address the rally, with claims that car insurance premiums have increased by up to 60 per cent over the past three years.
