The Seanad has heard calls for RTE to be "dismantled" - after claims that it pushes a pro-abortion agenda and mirrors other groups who support an "abortion holocaust".

The comments come from senator Jim Walsh, following a finding from the broadcasting regulator against one of the broadcaster's radio shows.

It's upheld complaints against the Ray D'Arcy Show over an interview with Amnesty's Colm O'Gorman.

Jim Walsh says it's a sign that RTE is in favour of the killing of unborn babies - and wants a boycott, or a total dismantling of the broadcaster.

Some unruly scenes followed as other members tried to follow suit, as you can see in the video above.
