A housing agency has rejected claims it's stopped elderly residents in a housing scheme from putting double beds in their newly refurbished flats for religious or moral reasons.
Residents at Fr Scully House - a 17 million euro redeveloped complex in Dublin's North inner city - have been complaining that they've been stopped from replacing the single beds they were given with double beds at their own expense.
However, the agency CHAS says the entire story has been blown out of proportion, and that there is storage issue on site and they will be able to accommodate all requests in due course.
