Divers from the Naval Service and the Gardai will today carry out searches off Sheep's Head peninsula in West Cork for the body of a Dutchman missing in the area for over a week.
31 year old Roland Deckers went missing with his friend, Othman Rahmouni after they went out for a walk on Saturday February 8th from a holiday home on the Sheep's Head Peninsula owned by Mr Decker's family.
When they failed to make contact with relatives in the Netherlands that weekend, a search was begun and the body of 33 year old Othman Rahmouni was recovered from the sea on Monday February 10th.
A series of dives were carried out yesterday in poor conditions. Gardai and the Naval service will resume their underwater search later today.
