More body parts have been discovered by Gardaí in the Grand Canal after searches earlier today.
The Garda Underwater Unit have found more evidence during searches today.
Body parts that were fished out of the canal at Sallins yesterday are undergoing a forensic examination to confirm if they belong to the murdered 33 year old Kenneth O'Brien. The father of one's torso was found in the canal at Ardclough earlier this month.
The results of that will be known tomorrow.
Gardai are following over 300 lines of inquiry into Kenneth O'Brien's murder.
They're also investigating other areas.
Gardai say that information from members of the public has been hugely important in the investigation.
The family of Kenneth O'Brien have also expressed their thanks to everyone who has so far come forward.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything unusual in Sallins or Ardclough since January 15th to contact them.
