A Doctor has apologised to a pregnant woman after she was wrongly  told on Monday her unborn baby was dead.

26 year old Aimee Nolan was told to make arrangements for a D&C procedure at the Midland Regional Hospital in Portloaise but two days later a scan showed her baby alive and healthy.

Her solicitor Rachel Liston says they are still traumatised after the incident
