A high profile doctor says even if new predictions are half right, Ireland's facing an obesity disaster in the coming years.
Research due to be presented in Prague today forecasts that Ireland will be the most obese nation in Europe in 15 years' time.
UK and WHO scientists estimate 57 per cent of women and 48 per cent of men here will be classified as obese at that point.
