NUI Galway is looking for older people to join a study about how music ages the brain.
They want people aged between 60 and 85 to take part in the study on the effects of listening to music.
Organisers are trying to see if music improves emotional, social or cognitive functioning which could be used to benefit older people in the future.
Jenny Groarke is carrying out the survey and says they've found some interesting differences in the ways that old and young people listen to music.
