Donald Trump has appointed the first two women to his cabinet - both of whom had been critical of him during the campaign.
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was his pick for US ambassador to the United Nations, while Betsy DeVos has been chosen for secretary of education.
Meanwhile, Trump has called for unity in the United States in a Thanksgiving address.
The President elect has posted a video on twitter describing the election campaign as long and bruising:
Let us give thanks for all that we have, and let us boldly face the exciting new frontiers that lie ahead. Happy Thanksgiving. pic.twitter.com/yH6LYdS2ts
