Dozens of people have been injured in two separate storms across Europe.

Thirty-three were hurt in the town of Hoppstädten in Germany as a bolt of lightning struck the pitch during a junior football match.

Twenty-nine of the injured are children.

In Paris - eight children are among eleven people hit after a sudden thunderstorm swept across a park during a birthday party.
