A team of Irish cancer survivors is among those competing in a unusual type of boat race today - specifically aimed at reducing the re-occurrence of breast cancer.

The ancient Chinese sport of Dragon Boat racing has been proven to be the most beneficial sport for breast cancer patients with lymphedema.

The sport sees up to twenty paddlers working together in each boat, to the beat of a drum.
