The Rose of Tralee has got off to an exciting start.

A protestor stormed the stage and the German Rose rapped Lil Wayne, on the first televised night of the festival.

Rose of Tralee organisers say there is enough security after a man dressed as a priest interrupted the Cavan Rose.

He was from the British-based 'Fathers for Justice' group.

And after poetry was banned this year, the German Rose Kari Foss decided to take it up a notch:
