Customs officers have seized drugs worth 60 thousand euro following an operation at Shannon Airport.
During routine passenger profiling, a sniffer dog sparked concerns about two Irish men in their forties who had got off a flight from Spain on Sunday.
They were questioned by Revenue officials and later taken to hospital where 100 pellets containing the drugs, were passed under medical supervision.
Gardai have arrested two men and investigations are ongoing.
