Ministers from Dublin and Belfast have agreed to work more closely together to deal with their concerns about Brexit.
But the agreement came with a warning that the plans could fall apart because of confusion about what the British government will ask for in talks.
The Taoiseach says there are unique circumstances for the island of Ireland when it comes to Brexit.
Enda Kenny was speaking after a meeting of the North South Ministerial Council in Armagh today.
