Dublin Bus drivers attached to SIPTU have voted by 95 per cent for strike action.
It follows the trade union's rejection of recommendations from the Labour Court last month in a long-running dispute over pay.
They're looking for a pay rise in line with the 18.3 per cent given to LUAS drivers recently.
Dublin Bus has issued a statement saying it's "extremely disappointed" and called on its staff not to engage in any action that could affect customers or the company.
