Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade remain at the scene of the fire at the Oxigen Plant in Ballymount this morning.
According to the fire service they are still trying to extinguish the blaze which broke out at the recycling plant early Saturday morning.
It's caused a particular challenge for fire fighters because of the compacted nature of the materials involved.
Local families are advised to continue to keep their doors and windows closed amid health fears.

Meanwhile Gardai have advised the following traffic restrictions re in place in the area:
1. Ballymount Road closed with only local access into Merrywell Industrial Esate. 2. Ballymount Avenue closed only local access into Merrywell Industrial Estate. 3. Access into Merrywell Industrial Estate from Turnpike Road only 4. Local Access only on Ballymount Road for Panda, Galco, Kelkin Fastway, up turnpike road only.
