The 143rd Dublin Horse Show is open for business.
The Lord Mayor of Dublin officially opened the event this morning.

Over 100 thousand visitors from home and abroad are expected to descend upon the RDS over the next 5 days.
Fifteen hundred horses and ponies will feature in the five day equestrian festival. Highlights include the Aga Khan showjumping contest.

But people aren’t just there to see the horses; alongside the competitive events, there’s lots of food, entertainment and shopping stalls, with Ladies’ Day taking place tomorrow.
It's hoped Ireland's favourite rock star Bruce Springsteen will show up again this year as his daughter Jessica is competing in the event along with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's daughter Georgina.
