House prices are rising more in Dublin than the rest of the country.
The figures nationally are up 2.1 per cent in the first three months of this year, compared to a 1.9 per cent rise over the same time in 2017.
However, in Dublin house prices went up by 2.3 per cent in the first quarter, compared to 1.8 per cent in the same period last year.
Sherry Fitzgerald Chief Economist Marian Finnegan says there is reasonably strong growth in other parts of the country.
In Galway prices rose by around 2 per cent, in Cork and Limerick they were up 1.1 and 0.9 per cent respectively.
