Dublin Ports Re-Opens After High Winds

Dublin Port has re-opened to cargo traffic, after strong winds forced it to close temporarily.

The Dublin Port Tunnel is also running as normal after traffic was restricted from entering the South Bore earlier.

Gardaí say traffic backlogs have now been cleared.

Met Éireann has issued a number of weather warnings for several counties, with Storm Diana set to bring strong winds tomorrow.

Motorists are being urged to take extra care on the roads, reduce their speed and leave extra space between vehicles.

They are also being asked to watch out for pedestrians and other road users in the high winds.

While rain may also reduce visibility in some places.
