Controversial rail works that have forced the closure of much of Dublin's Dart line are going ahead today.
No trains will be running to the city's north side due to the closure.
It comes as tens of thousands of people are set to attend the second day of celebrations marking the Battle of Clontarf in St Anne's Park.
