Rents in Dublin have gone up by 10 percent in the last 12 months - but the market is showing signs of moderating.

The latest rent index from the PRTB has found that outside the capital rents grew by 3.8 percent during the same time.

Nationally, the cost of rent in Ireland is now 17 percent lower than it was during the peak in 2007.
