Founding member of the Eagles Glenn Frey has died at the age of 67.
A statement from the band confirmed the singer and and guitarist died in hospital in New York.
He co-wrote and sang most of the Eagles hits, including "Take It Easy,""Tequila Sunrise," and "Heartache Tonight".
He also co-wrote "Hotel California" with Don Henley - and later enjoyed solo success with hits like "The Heat is On".
The Eagles were one of the biggest-selling acts of all time.
The band sold more than 150 million records and won six Grammy awards.
