A former Tánaiste says the Government should create a statutory inquiry to investigate the Olympic games tickets controversy.
Eamon Gilmore's call comes as Kevin Mallon is due before the courts in Rio tomorrow.
He was released from jail in the early hours of this morning after being arrested in connection with allegations of ticket touting.
Patrick Hickey remains in Bangu jail - he's expected to be released on bail later this week.
Both men deny allegations of wrongdoing.
