It's still unclear whether next week's industrial action by teachers will go ahead.

Hundreds of secondary schools are set to close unless the ASTI can work out a deal with the Department of Education over supervision and substitution duties.

The Department says it remains in regular contact with school management bodies on contingency arrangements ahead of Mondays action.
