A South Dublin architect is due to go on trial today accused of the murder of childcare worker Elaine O'Hara, two and a half years ago.

Graham Dwyer of Kerrymount Close in Foxrock is due to appear before the Central Criminal Court.

The 37 year old childcare worker Elaine O'Hara was last seen in August 2012, and her remains were found in the Dublin mountains the following year.

41 year old Graham Dwyer is charged with her murder.

He's due to appear before the Central Criminal Court this morning when a jury is expected to be sworn in for his trial.
