Electric Picnic has sold out in record time.

Public tickets to the Stradbally event are now officially sold out, just nine days after the first line up was announced.

A limited number of tickets are still available to Three customers.

This is the first time that tickets have sold out so far in advance of the September festival.

Among the acts already announced are LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Rey, The Chemical Brothers and New Order.
