The Taoiseach's again defending his handling of the threat of gangland crime - saying the Garda Commissioner will have all the resources she needs.

Enda Kenny was commenting as Sinn Féin said it couldn't be blamed for the threat of crime - blaming government cutbacks for the growth of criminal gangs.

The threats to journalists at INM has again pushed crime towards the top of the election agenda as the parties wrap up their second week of campaigning.
