The Taoiseach says Michael Noonan has assured him of his fitness for work.
It's after the Finance Minister was hospitalised last week with cellulitis, a severe skin infection, in his facial area.
The minister was treated last week and over the weekend with intravenous drugs, which required him to remain in hospital.
He missed one appointment on Monday morning due to a late discharge but was able to attend a three-hour meeting of the budgetary oversight committee yesterday.
