Environmental groups critical of Paris deal

There's been a mixed response to the Paris Climate Agreement.

The deal commits 195 countries to reduce their carbon emissions in order to keep global warming "well below" two degrees above pre-industrial levels.

President Barack Obama's called the deal the "best chance we have to save the one planet we have".

Here, the IFA's called it a "pragmatic" agreement that accepts that food production must not be undermined when addressing the global climate challenge.

However, environmental groups are concerned it isn't strong enough to deliver its goals.

Oisin Coghlan of Friends of the Earth Ireland says the deal is too vague:
