Two men in their thirties remain in custody at separate Dublin Garda stations following a firearms seizure yesterday.
It's believed that Gardaí intercepted another feud-related shooting between the Kinahan and Hutch gangs.
The first man was arrested after a car was stopped on the Naas Road and a firearm and ammunition were recovered.
The second man was arrested after a car was stopped on the Long Mile Road.
The men are known to gardai and are reportedly linked to the Kinahan crime group.
They can be held for up to seven days in custody.
