Thousands of homes were left without power as a result of Storm Clodagh today. 

ESB Networks says at the peak of the outages, 6,000 properties were without electricity.

A status orange warning for wind and a yellow alert for rainfall came to an end this afternoon, as the storm move towards Scotland.
