5 young offenders who escaped from a detention centre in Dublin are back in custody this morning.

The teenagers broke out of Oberstown detention centre yesterday evening.

Gardaí launched a search operation to find the youths that involved the air support unit and the dog unit.

The group was aprehended nearby at about 10 pm last night, and returned to the centre.
