A man who was arrested last night after allegedly setting off a plane's smoke alarms with an e-cigarette, is due to appear in court in Limerick this morning.
The 28-year old man from Miami allegedly told cabin crew to "F-off" before he was restrained and taken off the plane at Shannon Airport.
The man is also alleged to have been drunk on board the flight.
He will be charged with threatening and abusive behaviour; being intoxicated; and failing to obey directions from cabin crew.
