The EU has described an entry ban imposed on 89 European politicians as "totally arbitrary and unjustified".
The list includes the general secretary of the EU council Uwe Corsepius and Britain's former deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.
The former minister of state for Northern Ireland Jonathan Robathan - who's just retired from politics - is also on banned from travelling to Russia.
Many on the list are critics of Vladimir Putin's government, and the travel bans are seen as Russia's response to EU sanctions imposed over its invasion of Crimea.
