A plan to end roaming charges in the EU has been passed by the European Parliament.
The new regulations will outlaw the unpopular fees from June 2017.
From April next year, mobile operators roaming charges will be limited to 5 cent a minute for voice calls, 2 cent per text and 5 cent for each megabyte of data.
The EU has been reducing roaming charges since 2007.
The European Parliament has repeatedly asked for them to be scrapped altogether.
