Around a dozen families are being evicted from a building providing emergency accommodation in the capital today.

The men, women and children say they were given a week'Â’s notice by Dublin City Council, and that they haÂ’ve nowhere else to go.

The Council says it'Â’s offered all residents alternative accommodation, and points out that 125 families became homeless for the first time in January.
