The FAI Chief Executive has apologised for any offence he caused by singing a Republican ballad - but he says he's not a violent person.
John Delaney has been reacting to a video of him singing Joe McDonnell - a song written from the perspective of an IRA member convicted of firearms offences in 1977.
He was taped singing the ballad at the bar of a Dublin pub last week after Ireland beat the USA 4-1 at the Aviva Stadium.
The video was posted on You Tube.
He says he would not have sang the song if he knew he was being taped but he says he doesn't believe in all of the lyrics:
Mr Delaney has also spoken about how his partner Emma English has been bullied by online trolls.
He confirmed that Ms. English is seeking legal advice on the matter
