French police say an England fan is in a critical condition and four other people are injured after violence flared for a third day in Marseille ahead of England's opening Euro 2016 match against Russia.
Six people have been arrested.
French riot police have again used water cannon and tear gas to disperse supporters.
European football's governing body UEFA says it condemns the violence - which has continued in Marseille for three days.
Meanwhile, Marseille MP Patrick Mennucci's demanded that the UK pays towards the costs of the clean-up operation.
That's despite widespread reports that some of the violence was caused by Russian hooligans and locals.
