A father and his 3 year old son have died after the car they were traveling in crashed head on with a lorry in County Limerick this morning.
The crash happened at around 8.30am at an area known as Brooks Bridge near Pallasgreen.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
Gardai are investigating an attack on the boy's mother early this morning at her home in nearby Oola.
She's being treated at Limerick University Hospital after suffering a stab wound.
