The report of the Fennelly Commission has found that the former Garda Commissioner, Martin Callinan, was NOT sacked by Enda Kenny.
But the report says the decision to send a high-ranking civil servant to his home, with a message from the Taoiseach, was the "immediate catalyst" for his departure.
It also finds fault with the Attorney General over her response to the taping of phone calls at Garda stations nationwide.
