There's good news for Fianna Fáil in two opinion polls out today.

A Millward Brown poll for the Sunday Independent sees their support up 4 points to 23 per cent.

The Red C poll in today's Sunday Business Post sees them rise by 1 point to 20 - their highest rating for over a year.

That poll also revealed a 5 per cent surge in support for Independents to 23 per cent.

Fine Gael is unchanged at 28 per cent in the Red C poll - while the Millward Brown survey gives them a 4 point jump to 29 per cent.

Support levels for Sinn Féin and Labour are down in both of today's polls.

In the Red C survey Labour slips three points to 7 per cent and Sinn Féin drops three points to stand at 18.

In the Millward Brown survey, Sinn Fein are on 21 down 3, while Labour are on 6 per cent, down 2.
