Fianna Fáil's Micheal Martin remains the most popular party leader, in a new opinion poll published tonight.
However the Millward Brown poll for the Sunday Independent also sees Fine Gael retain a narrow lead as the most popular party.
The poll - which was taken before and after the Budget - has Fine Gael on 29 per cent, with Fianna Fáil on 27 and Sinn Féin on 20.
Labour are on 8 per cent, with the Greens on 2, and independents and others sharing 15 per cent of the vote.
