A government backbencher has defended the Web Summit organiser Paddy Cosgrave - and said civil servants should have acted quicker to keep the event in Ireland.
The three-day summit wraps up this afternoon - in what will be its last staging in Dublin for the foreseeable future.
Organisers have cited the price of hotels, traffic management and WiFi problems as some of their reasons for moving.
