Fianna Fail has called on the Government to scrap the Judicial Appointments Bill.
It follows scathing criticism of the proposed new law by the Attorney General.
Seamus Woulfe labelled it a 'dogs dinner', and said opposition amendments were 'contradictory, inconsistent and unconstitutional.'
Fianna Fail's Justice Spokesperson Jim O'Callaghan believes the criticism is justified.
He says the reason it is a dog’s dinner is because the chef is Shane Ross.
