The opposition are calling for the Transport Minister not to allow the sale of the government's stake in Aer Lingus to go ahead.
Yesterday it emerged that the parent company of British Airways has approached the carrier with a fresh takeover bid.
It's understood International Airlines Group submitted a revised proposal worth at least two-euro-fifty a share.
But Fianna Fail say any such sale could see Aer Lingus’ critical Heathrow slots siphoned off, risking future connectivity and jobs at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.
