So Just for old times sakes here it is
So what does it all mean?? Well, here's some helpful cog notes from skool.ie
On one level, the poem describes a woodland scene where a country road split into to two roads at a fork. It also describes a traveller’s regret at not being able to travel both roads. After making up his mind about what road to take, the traveller regretted not taking the other road.
On a deeper level, the poem describes a dilemma or a no-win-situation. The poem explores feelings of curiosity and regret associated with making a decision.
And now for the themes. What is the impact of the direction you take in life?
‘Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference’.
The poem explores the poet’s inner conflict in dealing with difference and shows how difficult it is to make a choice:
A strong theme is indecision and Frost shows that human beings are never satisfied. He also urges that people should be individuals and not follow the majority and ends up pointing out that humans cannot fulfil their intentions
‘I doubted if I should ever come back’.
